Our Story

Where It All Began

Townties grew out of a simple but powerful observation: missionaries return home transformed by the places they served, yet there was nothing that let them carry that transformation with them in a meaningful, everyday way.

We started The Town & Co. to change that. Our first ties were designed for a handful of specific LDS missions — each one rooted in the actual geography, culture, and character of that region. The response from families was immediate and overwhelming.

Mothers wanted something to give their sons and daughters before they left. Families wanted a gift worthy of a homecoming. Returned missionaries wanted a tangible connection to the chapters of their lives that had changed them most deeply.

Over time, Townties has grown well beyond that original mission. Today we make ties for anyone who carries a place in their heart — whether that's a city you grew up in, a country you fell in love with, a region that shaped who you are, or a chapter of your life worth remembering. The tie just happens to be the perfect thing to carry that story.

What We Stand For

Made with Intention

  • 01

    Specific, Not Generic

Every design in our collection is tied to a real place — a specific mission, city, or region. We don't make patterns that could be anywhere. We make ties that could only be yours.

  • 02

    Crafted to Last

Our ties are made to be worn for years and passed down. We finish every detail with care, because the things that matter deserve to be built to endure.

  • 03

    A Gift Worth Giving

We know most Townties are given as gifts. That's why our packaging and personalization options are designed with the giver in mind as much as the wearer.
